Today, at 5 p.m., is the deadline to register for the “Creating Allies, Elevating Voices, and Strengthening Communities” UA Inclusive Excellence Symposium. The in-house diversity conference takes place on March 31, 8 a.m.-1:30 p.m., and includes various workshop sessions, and a free luncheon with keynote speaker Dr. Kathleen Wong (Lau).
The first 50 people to register for the symposium will receive a copy of the book on microaggressions entitled, “It’s the Little Things: Everyday Interactions that Anger, Annoy, and Divide the Races,” by Lena Williams. The book will be used in one of the workshops as a tool for creating dialogue about microaggressions and intergroup interactions.
Registration and more information is available here.
